Our kids, aged 7 and 10, still talk about the Junior Ranger book and planting their own tree. The crew made them feel like real explorers. Safe, relaxed and perfectly paced for families.

Tough, sweaty and absolutely worth it. We met wild orangutans far from the feeding platforms, a pair of rhinoceros hornbills and more leeches than I would like to admit.

Brilliantly organised from airport pickup to drop-off. The food on board was incredible for a boat kitchen, and knowing our money funds tree planting made the trip even better.

Waking up on the klotok to gibbons calling across the river was magical. Our guide knew every orangutan by name and explained how the feeding stations support rehabilitated apes. The best four days of our whole Indonesia trip.

As a wildlife photographer I appreciated the patience of the guide and how flexible the crew was with timing. Golden hour on the Sekonyer River is unforgettable.

Superb wildlife and a very knowledgeable guide. My only regret is not booking the four-day trip to spend more time around Camp Leakey.
